You do have to switch back and forth between your game and Words Winner as it is not possible to share data between applications. Because of the keyboard you can quickly type the words onto the board without restriction. Plus when you find a word you like on the list, just click to see where it will go, then tap again to have it placed there permanently. If you want to undo the last word at any time, tap the undo button at the top right of the screen at any time. To enter a blank tile in your rack use the . character.
